For those who may be interested in a discussion of the evolutionary origins
of music, the Nordic Journal of Music Therapy has recently published
several contributions that touch on this subject (that is at least one
contribution in every edition these two last years - including Colwyn
Trevarthen, Björn Merker and myself - in the forthcomming edition an
ethological perspective from Ellen Dissanayake). There is also an ongoing
